Raising Baby Chicks by The Chicken School is officially live.

If you’re here today, it might look like Raising Baby Chicks appeared overnight. But the truth is — this course has been years in the making.

It started long before lesson outlines, filming days, or launch countdowns. It started with my very first box of baby chicks… and the immediate realization that raising them was way more overwhelming than I expected.

Like most new chick parents, I did what everyone does. I Googled. I joined Facebook groups. I read blogs. I watched videos. And somehow, the more information I consumed, the less confident I felt. One person said one thing. Another said the exact opposite. Every small decision felt high-stakes — temperature, bedding, feed, health, timing — and I constantly wondered if I was messing it all up.

Learning the Hard Way (So You Don’t Have To)

Over the years, raising chickens became a big part of my life. Not just a hobby — but something I kept coming back to, learning from, refining, and teaching others about.

I’ve raised chicks in different seasons.

I’ve made mistakes.

I’ve changed my mind about products, setups, and “best practices.”

I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and first-time chicken keepers through the exact same panic I once felt.

And the same pattern kept showing up again and again: People don’t need more information. They need clear direction. They need to know:

  • What actually matters

  • What doesn’t

  • What’s normal

  • What’s worth worrying about

  • And what they can confidently ignore

The Missing Piece

Somewhere along the way, I realized something important: There was no single, beginner-friendly place that walked someone through raising baby chicks from start to finish — without fear-mongering, conflicting advice, or information overload. Everything was scattered. So instead of sending people to ten different blogs, twenty Instagram posts, and a comment section full of arguments… I started quietly building the resource I wished I’d had.

A Year in the Making

This course wasn’t rushed. Over the past year, I’ve carefully mapped out every lesson — from preparing before chicks arrive, to those first critical days, to daily care, to a smooth and confident coop transition.

Every lesson is based on:

  • Real experience

  • Common questions I hear over and over

  • The moments new chick parents stress about most

  • No fluff.

No pressure. No “do this or else” energy. Just clear, practical guidance explained the way I’d talk to a friend standing in front of their brooder for the first time.

Why I Made This

I made this course because raising baby chicks should feel exciting, not overwhelming. You should feel confident, not constantly second-guessing yourself. And you deserve a resource that respects your time, answers your questions honestly, and helps you enjoy this stage instead of surviving it.

Today, It’s Finally Here

Raising Baby Chicks by The Chicken School is officially live.

It’s an 8-lesson online course designed for anyone planning to raise baby chicks and wanting to do it right- without stress, confusion, or information overload. If you’re getting chicks soon (or thinking about it), this course is for you.

Thank you for being here, for trusting me, and for being part of this journey.
